This is a drawing (and computer colored) picture of the character I made up for the role playing game. Her name is Selkie…and I’ve recently realized that she is disconcertingly a bit too much like Trinity from Matrix.

Yay, my comic got accepted into the Neopian times! I’m all happy and excited now! TEE HEE HEE!!!

I just made a comic for the Neopets site! I hope they accept it for the Neopian Times…I think it’s really cute! The file might be too big though. This is my first successful cartoon…graphic cartoon on the computer thingy!

I have decided that I think I’d like to post some journal entries from my “secret” journal here. So that it’s all in one place, most of it, anyway. The stuff I couldn’t talk about when I was just becoming mentally free from the JWs. The time period spans from June 5, 2003, and covers pretty much just that year. You’ll find it under archives. I also wrote in here during that time, so it’ll probably just be interspersed with everything else.

We’ve finally done it! Yay…I talked Dan into joining some of the people he works with in a role-playing game. I’ve always wanted to try it but it just kept not working out before, with other people. These people are really fun…the setting is Cyberpunk, which normally wouldn’t have been my first choice, but it’s turning out to be a lot of fun. Last night was our first role playing session. I always was confused by how it’s really done, so when people were talking to one another, totally in character, and referring to their characters in the first person, I was a little thrown off. I wasn’t really expecting that, so I hadn’t really developed my character well enough for that sort of interaction. But now that I know what to expect, and I’ve ’seen’ her in action, so to speak, I have her a little better fleshed out in my mind and am really really looking forward to next time.

It’s a really fun diversion. And we’re making some really great friends.

I added another link on the right, to Tad Williams’ website. (For those of you unfamiliar with my obsessions, Tad Williams has been my favorite writer since I was 13. He wrote my favorite book, Tailchaser’s Song, and has continued to write really fun, interesting, and exciting fantasy works (and some really excellent cyber too). As a personality, I think he’s unparalleled in his friendliness (when I wrote him a letter when I was 13, he not only wrote me back, but also remembered me years later when I wrote to him again as an adult!)
