Here is the latest….a Gaia commission for Cartagia. Whew, that took me way too long! I like the way it turned out, though I think the style of the woman clashes too much with the style of the painting behind her… (that’s supposed to be a portrait of her.) And it took me way too long to finish! One of the other people waiting withdrew their commission. 
Oh well, I’m trying to talk her into opening it again.

Starting January 3, 2007, I will be an official University student!!!! OMG! I just got my acceptance letter, like, five minutes ago. I called Dan and left a screaming message, poor guy. Texted a couple of friends. Did a lot of jumping around, dancing and screaming. Oh my god!!!
Well I can only say “oh my god” over and over again right now. And “I’m so fucking excited” and “I can’t believe it”. But I can believe it. I just wasn’t keeping my hopes up. My SAT scores were really high, and my brief history of life probably made all the difference in the world. UW loves me. *heart*
Ow, now my intestines are joining in the excitement. They need to stay out of this!!
*dreaming* Math, English, and Art. That’s what I’m going to take for a while at first. Obviously I’m majoring in Art, but I’m considering minoring in Astronomy. That would rock. And I wanna take Poetry, Philosophy, Logic, Literature, and computer related stuff like web design and HTML. But that’s pretty basic shit compared to all the cool stuff I can learn. Oh my god. I can feel a universe opening in front of me with a delectibly infinite library of delicious books at the tips of my fingers. I am in greedy awe. And it’s all MINE!!!!!!!

Hey, I forgot to put this one up!! I did this a few weeks before the other one. For a Gaia art auction I’m in, we were to make animal versions of our avatars, and this is mine. I made it extra sugary. :3

Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve posted anything. I finished this a few weeks ago and have been lazy about putting it up. ^^ Tis a commission for Gaia user TiltedHaloPs44. Yay!
I’m working on another commish, and then two more are in the offing. (These are commissions in that they’re paying me in Gaia gold ) I’m kind of feeling overwhelmed by them, but I’m working on them steadily. On the one I’m doing now, I made it far too detailed and it’s driving me nuts. I’ll probably love it to death when I’m done though. They seem to get better every time. 
I’m worried about getting everything done in time for the new year. I’m still waiting to hear from UW as to whether they will accept my application for Winter Quarter 2007. In any case, I’ll be going to school full time starting January 3, whether it’s at UW or Seattle Central. I also promised my Neopets guild that I’d make a layout for it for the month of December. Other than that, I’ve been refraining from promising anybody anything. ^^;
I don’t have to go to school today! Yay! Math class has still been going very well. I’m in Intermediate Algebra for the moment, and this quarter has definitely been more challenging than the last three, but I think I’ll still pull an A.
Dan’s been at Microsoft for a year now.
